Dave has spent close to a decade training and developing his skills in Massachusetts. A former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp, he acted as weight and fitness non-commissioned officer with the responsibility of ensuring the physical readiness of the forty-plus Marines. He has been training in the civilian sector for almost a decade and is a Massachusetts Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. In addition, Dave has trained with and under diverse group of athletes and therapists, learning a variety of motivating techniques. Dave is certified by the NSCA and as a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and holds an Associates degree in Physical Therapy, a Bachelor's in Athletic Training, is a Certified USA Weight Lifting Level-1 Sports Performance Coach, and a certified Functional Movement Screen screener.

'I am a 55 year old, six foot male. In August 2013, I was overweight and close to 220 pounds. did not like the way I looked or felt. I was coming off an arm injury and felt it was time to change. I joined Better Health Pro with Dave and started training under his tutelage. We focused on my core and worked on my stamina, initially. Simultaneously, I also focused on nutrition at Dave’s urgeing. With in a matter of weeks I was losing fat, building muscle and feeling stronger.

By the end of november, I was below 200 pounds and looking and feeling better. I have continued with Dave and now I am down to 192 pounds and feeling even stronger and liking the way I look. I have additional goals to achieve and with Dave’s help I am sure I will continue to progress.
